If someone should replace Tubbs, it should be McClain

McClain is the best hire in my mind since Tubbs was let go so unfairly.

Since SMU got rid of Tubbs prematurely, they should ultimately come to terms with hiring the best coach out there right now.

With Bob Huggins out of the question, Wyoming coach Steve McClain would be the best possible option for hire for SMU.

He might well be a good candidate, but to say he's THE BEST candidate is just a bit premature, don't you think?

My guess is that Orsini is recruiting as we speak from a pool of candidates he might already know

I do not see McClain leaving Wyoming, he has always been involved in many jobs but you never see him getting them. I wonder how close Orsini is the the current coach at UCF? Could that be a possiblity?
