Confirm Bartel's Status

Well, can someone confirm Richard Bartel's status a day after the reports that he did not make the trip to the Islands?

Is he in class? Has he otherwise been seen on campus? Maybe running the steps at Ford, or whatever SMU ball players do for punishment?

And who is the second QB if Bartel stayed in Dallas?

Great point No Quarter. Everyone is worried about why Bartel didn't make the trip, but only you and I are thinking about who is going to back up Tate.
Anyone got any info?

Oh I think there are plenty others who are concerned about the backup QB situation. If Bartel did indeed miss curfew, then that would be grounds for having him miss one game. The players do have curfews, and get calls to see if they are in on time, at random. Even my son gets those. My feelings are that Bartel will be back for the next game. Lets just get it behind us. We dont want to make this bigger than it is. I know how bad that can get.
