I think JT requested that it be deleted because of his lame comeback. JT has good one liners but that one was not one for the portfolio.

Agreed, and everyone just keeps posting the same stupid comments pro or con....present company included.....but yet I keep reading it hoping for something new.

It was not censorship at all, thank you. The comments toward the end of that thread would have been deemed inappropriate by just about anyone. There are plenty of other sites and forums out there on which you can say whatever you like. This is not one of them. Again, this site is for support and discussion about SMU athletics.

Why is it that jt and hf get to come on here, spit vitriol and call the kettle black, then? Nothing in my post was any harsher than some of the things in this very thread!

I was simply pointing out the truth--that I'm sick of the whining about Tubbs' firing, that he was not all that and a bag of chips, and that EVERYONE should move on and SUPPORT OUR NEW COACH!

Honestly, what is wrong with that?

You have to understand. jt and hf are our disenfranchised and downtrodden colleagues. You know the drill.......they get to challenge everything, say whatever, do whatever and get a pass. Their voting machines had hanging chads when we all voted whether to keep Tubbs or not. If we challenge too strongly, we get painted as the hoity toity, GQ reading, look down our noses kind of people. We don't want that so we give them a pass. Clear now????????

Actually you're wrong again, basher--my "vitriol" is no longer driven by the fact that we fired Tubbs. If you'd been paying attention, I posted I was used to that reality over a week ago. My anger is now directed squarely at Mad Max Williams for he did (and relatedly at his grandkid, for unreasonable reasons), and at SMU for not taking action against him. I don't mind if you want to challenge me, I find you silly and irrelevant in an entertaining sort of way.
