General board
Folks -
Once again, a few posters got carried away -- very carried away -- prompting the deletion of a few threads. It's not that hard to know what's going to be acceptable and what's not. The General/Around the Hilltop board is created to allow a little latitude, but topics that have absolutely no relationship to SMU or its athletic department are subject to removal.
Thank you for understanding.

apparently not, I have been assured that it relates to SMU by way of the boulevard, and the fact that people enjoy a good burger both before and after a game.

The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

By that logic we should have a babe-of-the-day thread, as man people enjoy a good look at the fine, fine women on the boulevard, both before and after the games. Perhaps it would have to be SMU girls only?

Everybody have your cell phones at the ready this fall. Can you imagine the glorious thread entitled "Babes of the Boulevard?" Can it be? Could it be? It's a must. This fall. Home games. Take pictures on the Boulevard. Post 'em. Instant 'legend' status, which would outpace 'Burger Wars' quickly.

why isnt there a miscellaneous board/forum, such as to discuss other sports teams in the metroplex or whatever the hell we feel like talking about????
Not to plug another board, but the CUSA website does have a babe of the day page and as long as the girls are semi-clad, they don't really care what you post there. Babes of the Boulevard could probably be posted there without the obvious negative reaction since it is clearly not a family site. If the mods want to delete this post go right ahead, I'm just trying to give these guys an outlet for posting pics that you clearly don't want here. You can also go post them on the Frogs website just to show them what they haven't got.

We're kept plenty busy monitoring the boards we have without adding that. But there are plenty of sites out there that do have such forums. We're just not going to be one of them.mavsrage311 wrote:why isnt there a miscellaneous board/forum, such as to discuss other sports teams in the metroplex or whatever the hell we feel like talking about????

fair enough, but I'm sure many people here would like to post on one site only without having to go to others to post about anything else
