Injuries
So Tate will practice and Kincade will practice. Do we know for sure that KG is out? I hope the injury to his knee isn't as bad as it appears.
Re: Injuries
Were there any other injuries from Saturday's game, besides KG, Kincade and Wallis?
Re: Injuries
yes, unfort~Croy has some sort of swollen ankle...

Re: Injuries
Uh oh. Is it serious? Lute's one of the toughest hombres we've had roll through Big D in years, and I'd say that if he can walk on it, he'll give it a go. He's always given the impression that he's one of those guys you almost have to shoot to get him off the field.
What's the prognosis? Anyone with some inside scoop?

Re: Injuries
it is not too serious...and should be back on the field for this weekend, and also add Vic V. to the list~he hurt his rotator-cuff...dont know how bad it is~too bad this all had to happen, ESP. at the same time!

Re: Injuries
We can't afford to miss Croy or Viloria. Although Vic's backup, D.D. Lee, has always looked good. Has he not played much because the oaches don't want to take Vic off the field, or because he's hurt/not practicing well?

Re: Injuries
FYI...KG has just a sprained knee and should only miss two games.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

From today's Dallas Morning News:
Cornerback Garrett suffers only a sprain
UNIVERSITY PARK - Senior cornerback Kevin Garrett suffered a sprained left knee Saturday at Fresno State and will miss about two games, coach Phil Bennett said Monday.
Bennett feared that Garrett suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which would have ended Garrett's season and perhaps damaged his NFL draft stock. An MRI revealed the sprain.
Garrett was invited to the Senior Bowl last week.

HOORAY, BEER!
Re: Injuries
That's GREAT news about KG! Glad his season and career aren't over, because he's a great guy and a great player. I'm glad we'll get to see him play again before he heads to the NFL.
Re: Injuries
Reading that Kevin Garrett is going to be OK is the best news I've heard in a while.

Re: Injuries
Any updates on injuries, from anyone who's been to practice this week? Croy? Viloria? Kincade?
Re: Injuries
All three are practicing and Croy is icing/doing rehab...kincade is fine...not sure bout Viloria, but he's been at practice as well.
