Soccer in the west?

Post by braginator »

I know SMU soccer never struggles to recruit outside of Texas, but why no games west of Dallas this coming season? There is some great talent out in California and it seems odd to me that the boys aren't even going to make a single trip to the Left Coast.

Wasn't that the first three goals UCLA had given up at home ALL YEAR?
And the first time they'd lost at home by three goals in something like 40 years?
SMU owns the western half of the country -- next year, let's take it all!

Ummm, New Mexico might take issue with that statement. I think we're playing them this year though so that might settle that issue. We'll still have a pretty young team this year.

OK, so Pony Up got a little over-enthusiastic.
Not a bad thing, as I see it.
