According to Robert Miller in today's (6/20) Dallas Morning News Business section page 4D, David and Carolyn Miller have given $2.5 million to SMU to be divided between the Edwin L. Cox School of Business and SMU Athletics. David was a 3 year varsity basketball letterman while he earned a degree in finance in 1972 and an MBA in 1973 from SMU. $1 million will be the first donation toward construction of a new basketball facility and $500 thousand will go toward enhancing the men's basketball program.
