NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Enron founder Kenneth Lay died early Wednesday in Aspen, a family spokeswoman said. He was 64.
In a statement, spokeswoman Kelly Kimberly said, "The Lays have a very large family with whom they need to communicate, and out of respect for the family we will release further details at a later time."
In May, Lay was found guilty of nine counts of fraud and conspiracy related to the collapse of Enron, the company he founded that grew into the seventh largest company before it imploded after an accounting scandal.

Try out death tomorrow and see which you think is best.
Better still, how about wondering every time you stroll out of your cell to work, exercise, or take a shower is when Tyrone or Bubba or Paco and/or their friends are going to once again [deleted].......................

Call me skeptical of our prison system, but I do not think that Skilling will end up (no pun intended) in the same facility as Tyronne, Bubba or Paco. He will certainly get time but his worst treatment will probably be the chaffing from the ankle device he will have to wear after he is released in a couple of years.

Gotta be the first time that word's ever beeen posted on this board. Friarwolf, should we attach any significance to the fact that it came from you? And what would you know that's actually "worse" for godsake?
Having Tyrone, Bubba, or Paco as a roomie and knowing what awaits every night???????????

The Washington Capitals just drafted a goalie whose first name is Semen. I'm not making this up.
Jeff will end up at one of the "Country Club" prisons in the Federal System. No, he won't be rooming with the Chris Meloni character from that prison series that HBO had awhile back, but he will not get to go to a fancy restaurant and will have to eat pork and beans for dinner.
