Heritage Hall

Post by 50's PONY »

Just noticed on SMU Mustangs.com that there is some new information about Heritage Hall, including color renderings, that show what it will look like. Sounds exciting!

Ever been? Seems like it should be bigger...not a whole lot of interesting stuff after you read all the junk about Kyle Rote, Doak, and the Pony Express.

JUNK???? Son, you would be in hog heaven if you had such "junk" to read now about our present team and players. This junk you refer to is the heritage of this school's football program that God willing we will match with a similar level of accomplishment some day soon. Junk indeed.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

What is in there now is only a display because Heritage Hall is not funded. Heritage Hall will tell the story of SMU Athletics from A to Z when completed.

I was just laughing at how 06 was talking about something he didn't know (again). ...I am starting to be mean. Maybe I should take a hiatus from the board.

Cupcaking, you love breakin my balls....I'm sure Heritage Hall will be fantastic when we finally get it done. For now, it stinks.
