Tech Fan Here
Just wanted to wish you guys luck this Saturday and hopefully both teams come out of the game injury free. Hope you fans that are headed to Lubbock will have an enjoyable time regardless of the outcome of the game.
By the way there is a huge misconception about Mike Leach and if you ever get to meet him, you'll see that he's a great guy and very approachable. His personality is something that you have to get used to and even folks in Lubbock wanted him out of here his first couple ofyears in Lubbock. His whole offensive philosophy is quite different than every other coach and its human nature to be unsure how to react when something is different than the norm. He truly believes that every repetition is needed when dealing with QB's and you cant argue with the results that he's produced with 4 different QB's in his 6 years here at Tech. A lot of folks get offended by the fact that Tech keeps passing the ball late in the game but his thing is that he wants his team playing hard and wanting to score everytime the offense has the ball no matter if their down 10-60 or up 60-10. I saw the Navy pic posted when the Tech players had that unfortunate TD celebration, well Leach's response to that was those players were gonna have "a hell of an off-season."
Anyway Ponies looking forward to Saturday.

Well.. I can't speak for everyone.. but my trip just got bumped up a few notches because Leach is such a fantastic guy.
I'm just hoping that the Tech fans don't act like the a-h0les that plagued Ford Stadium a few years ago. I've never seen such jacka$$ery.
I am curious how many are making the trip. Don't think it will be as many as we had in Pyle Field last year.
Thanks for the kind words Raiderfan.. we're just hoping to give you a good battle and that no one gets hurt.
My only request is that you beat the snot out of TCU.. since we're not getting the chance this year.

What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

It was the other kids stealing his money, that is why he is trying to get back at everyone..............................

I agree...not all of them are a-holes. I know quite a few that are great people who apologized for the way their fellow fans acted during the game. However, as a whole, they are very classless. Otherwise, the ones I know would not have had anything to apologize about.
Of course, some of our students were no angels either, replacing the index finger with the middle finger in the tt "guns up."
