I saw Vic Viloria yesterday, and he's still got his arm in a sling. From what I hear, they've been going with 100% rest as a remedy for the ongoing stinger/pinched nerve that's been bothering him, but the coaches hope he'll play this week. Bennett said yesterday that if Vic isn't 100%, they'll hold him out, let D.D. Lee play and have Vic ready for his final home game against Tulsa.
Kevin Garrett has been practicing and should start Saturday against UTEP.
Alvin Nnabuife is back and will play this weekend, although he won't start.
ShanDerrick Charles is officially out for the year, although they're expecting he'll receive a medical redshirt. They also say he should be back for spring workouts.

Re: Injured Ponies
Sorry to hear Vic's shoulder is still bothering him. The Tulsa game just won't be the same if we don't see him out there, "cracking skulls."
But it will be nice to see KG and Nnabuife back. We can always use a few extra sets of fresh legs in the secondary. KG's going to finish up strong!

Johnnie Freeman's face has been repaired (his chin was split open, and he had damage above the teeth in his upper jaw to the point that he couldn't even put in a mouthpiece.)
He's supposed to start this weekend at UTEP.
