Crazy Ray

I no longer live in Dallas, so I have not been aware of the Crazy Ray press and just came across an article in today's DMN about the state of Ray's health. Apparently he is in some pretty bad shape and some folks are trying to raise money to help Ray's family make his home wheelchair accessible. They have a website with "Save Crazy Ray" gear and are donating the profits from each item sold to Ray and his family. Here is the link: http://www.cafepress.com/savecrazyray.

When SMU played at the Cotton Bowl, he used to be one of the vendors there. Can't remember what he sold, but that wasn't part of his charm. He and Chief Zee of the Redskins used to have a lot of fun together.
