The ESPN2 Game

Can someone please explain to me why Prez. Turner and the rest of the big wigs would possibly wait until 3:30pm on game day to open the Blvd. -- why not shut classes down, tell all the professors to come out to the Blvd. and take roll out there. Then open the place up to local kids to come and trick-or-treat. Only SMU would take a national exposure chance like this and screw it up!

Can't wait to see a big [deleted] empty stadium on TV. Morons!

Another thing that I find sad is the fact that a lot of my fellow students don't even really know about the game. Most people look at me like I'm crazy when I talk about the Halloween game... There really hasn't been much of a buzz created on campus, but I guess I can't expect much with he attitudes of the majority of the student body when it comes to supporting our teams.

Two reasons for the 3:30 start:

1. The anti-football faculty will whine if they cancel classes,
2. SMU ALWAYS does the opposite of whatever is best for the football program.
