I am sure that the greeks will have some sort of 'drunken halloween bash' on that nite.

Nah -- can't leave at halftime if you don't show up in the first.

I don't think so... most of the Halloween parties are this weekend... There won't be anything too huge going on with the Greeks besides normal pregame drinking. The only thing keeping them from going to the game is their continued lack of interest in the team..

I still think pretty good...honestly if there is one thing that SMU students like more than a party...it is partying on national Television. And throw in that the women get to dress as naughty nurses and catholic school girls for the entire nation, we are goign to be suprised with the turnout.

I don't know how into The Beatles the greeks are, but A Hard Night's Day is playing at a Halloween party at the Barley House that night.

Let's hope at least some of them wear red.

Total attendance will be in the 7500-8000 range, I suspect. Student turnout will be minimal.

Another great marketing opportunity down the drain. Could have been billed as The Largest Toga Party in the Southwest! Show clips of Animal House on the Jumbotron and have the Mustang Band do an Animal House-themed halftime performance.

I hope you are wrong, I really do . . .but I have to agree with you.... <hurts me to say that> . . . I seem to remember a much bigger game last year (SMU- and that other school) in which we were the home team but we still seemed to be out numbered! what should make us think this game will be any different???
Sports, and all that implies.

in fact, that game was less attended than Methodists vs. Baptists (27k at that one; 22k at DeMyron's coming out party)

Great idea MM65... It's not over, we still have time... Remember:

D-Day: War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.

Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is!
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Otter: Germans?

Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

All because of media coverage. Most local alums won't even know there is a game.
