Word is on CoogFans that they already sold their allotted visitor's seats in sections 126 and 127.

Just restating what is being said. Didn't say I believe it. But I have this feeling that there will be a lot of people at this game, hopefully they will all stay for longer than halftime.

This place should be rocking. One of the most important games in recent history. Actually, two of the most important games, AT HOME, back to back. I doubt Tulsa will be full, but with lots of alumni rolling back into town, I am willing to be some of them check out the game. Hopefully the students recognized the importance and show up too. I'll be there.

For all intents and purposes this is UH's championship game. You guys notice all they got left on the schedule is hapless Memphis at Memphis-a game few will attend. I'm going to predict at least 3,000 UH fans Saturday. Heck it should be more for easy Saturday drive game and a 2:00 start. . If not this is a very bad sign for CUSA. In the old SWC days UH had a significant road presence-not great but they brought some fans when they were good.

If the over/under is 3,000 Houston fans, I got money on the under.

Just curious, will there be more than 3000 pony fans?

This will be my first game in 5 years and I am taking a bunch of Dallas based friends that have not been in a looong time (and they seem pumped). I imagine it will be well attended.

The rumored Cougar buses and large contingent, I suspect, will be not unlike the 50,000 screaming Tulane fans at the SMU Tulane game.

Probably a good place to start the bets

I'm going under too. The Houston Chronicle has gone back to deep six the coogs mode and I haven't heard of UH expanding there alumni pep busses heading up, though I might have missed it, even though they probably sold them out already (all two of them - heard their were only 15 spots open Monday early). Nor have I heard of any massive, bus the students up there deals.

It ain't no newsflash we haven't traveled well in the past. Neither do you. So get off your high horses and get your own damn fans to the game.

If I have a high horse, it is a shetland pony. The next day SMU travels well will the first in a long time. People on this board take "Chicken Little" to a whole new level. I am just trying to quell the fears.

If I wanted to rag on UofH, I have much better material.
