Celebration of Lights @ SMU

Southern Methodist University's Celebration of Lights will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Dallas Hall, 3225 University Blvd. on the SMU campus. Carols, hot chocolate and 100,000 tiny white lights will bring in the holiday season at this annual event. The Garland High School Chamber Singers, SMU's Voices of Inspiration, and SMU's Men's Quartet will perform Christmas carols. Following a reading of the Christmas story, the columns of Dallas Hall and surrounding trees will be lit. After the program, hot chocolate and cider will be served. The program is free and open to the public. The Celebration of Lights began in 1977.
