As much as I'm happy for SMU's sake, I can't help but feel our conference has been so gutted that we're on par with the MAC and a small step above the Sunbelt. Going 1-4 in bowl games doesn't help either.

$2 dollar pitchers at the bar, and $1 beers at the driving range on hooters girl night... and $2 pitchers can make anytown fun... not to mention you don't have to wear your pink lacoste shirt (pooped collar ofcourse) and designer jeans to take home a girlPeruna_Ate_My_Rolex wrote:expony18 wrote:hey now.... tulsas not that bad... and the nightlife is a lot cheaper then dallas!!SMUshouldbebowling wrote:I will take a couple of them gladly!!! who wants to go to school up there for 4 years anyway!!!?

grocery stores sell 3.2, you can only buy 6.0 beer if it's in a liquor store and it can't be cold (don't ask me why), and the bars sell regular beer... i can't remember the last time i had a bar tab over $20 in tulsa, in dallas there weren't many times my bar tab was under $20 (exception was when Joe willy's had all those great deals and a few guys from the band worked their and hooked us up).

Yes, but it's got a new name and new management now. Not been there since the change tho.
Just my two cents.
