Here is an article on Todd Dodge's recruiting of a player in Abilene. Dodge had a right not to honor the scholarship offer of this player, but the way he handled it may have a lasting negative effect on some of the high school coaches in the state come next year.
Pretty interesting read. I kind of doubt that will come back to bite Dodge/UNT, but it's a far cry from the way Coach Bennett handled things when he got hired at SMU.
WOW, If that story gets out it will really rub coaches the wrong way. Remember Baylor and the Berkner QB that had his ship pulled becasue he went on a visit with a friend.
Who took Dodge's "Huevos" from him? He didn't even call the recruit and later refused to? Must be a requirement to become a head coach in college when coming directly from high school. I guess that's why we used to use the phrase (that's) "high school"!
What quarterback from Rowlett was it? If he graduated in 2005 it was Collin Cox. Name sound familiar? If that is the case, it is not a recruit worth a scholarship anyways.
If thats not him, what was the guys graduation date, since I probably know who is being talked about.
aparently none of you met him... we were much better off without him. he was nothing but trouble, and he wasn't better then what we had, if you can believe that
