SMU Colors
Well it looks like Richard Sweet has finally decided what the school colors really are and it looks like Ponyfans.com and smumustangs.com will have to lighten up! His new blog has examples of the colors:

I think we need a New Old Original Post-Death Penalty Authentic Traditions Committee and Focus Group to get it right. I think if we join hands and sing Kum Ba Ya at the Peruna marker at Ford Stadium and conduct a seance to bring back the spirit of Ray Morrison, we can nail the mystery of the Mustang tradition once-and-for-all. Ray will know what "blue" to use... and he may even help with a few plays to run on the goal line.

Somebody put them up on this board, please.
I can't link to a blog through work, and I forgot to do it at home, and I'm itching to see the new colors.
Though I might be the only one, I really dig the colors they have now. I just wish that they would play with the dark blue jerseys once in awhile.

According to the Public Affairs Color Guide site ( http://smu.edu/publicaffairs/colors.asp ) they "evolved" into the current "official" colors. Evolution evidently now affects colors too.SMUtrojanFAN wrote:So the official school colors are "SMU Red" and "SMU Blue"?
Whatever happened to Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue?

Our evolved blue is not even close to Yale blue. http://www.yale.edu/printer/identity/yaleblue.html
