If that size and speed are accurate, he sounds like he has the physical tools, at least, to be a player.
Anyone know any numbers on the guy?

Told he was offered by Missouri, Stanford, Duke, Wake Forest, Iowa, Vanderbilt, Purdue and Virginia

I think SMU has offered him. I believe they were first.

Hopefully he'll be one of those kids who appreciates the fact that we went after him first (at least with an offer), and signs wiith the Ponies.

Per Rivals, Owens committed to Vanderbilt. Recruiting does not appear to be one of Bennett's strong points!
BTW Vanderbilt has 5 commitments now.
