Best running joke on Ponyfans?
So it is off season, and if you haven't noticed threads are getting hijacked like 1980's TWA flights. I figure we should roll with it. We would only have about ten posts in the last week if we really only stuck to the forum parameters.
Anyway, what's the best running joke on the forums? Personally, the seat thing never gets old to me, don't know why.

I voted for the TE joke mainly because its not as expected as others and really does crack me up when I'm reading a post. jt and mrydel seat gag is a classic too and if you can't laugh about it, you just don't have enough fun in life. "I forgot more football than you'lll ever know" is actually the best in my opinion, but so easily used and intereted in every thread it takes little creative talent, which is why I casted my vote the way I did.
Cheers to Grider for compiling a truely comprehensive list of the best quips on the board! What a great post!

Funny thing is, I've seen the seat saga for years... but don't quite get it since I didn't see it in the beginning. As far as I can tell they sit together, but might not have the same seat assignments. I really have no idea.
I don't recall the forgotten more football beginning, and would find it funnier if I actually remember when Bennett said it.
I voted for tight ends... that one always gets me.

Not meaning to nitpick but wasn't PB's quote actually, "I've forgotten more football than YOU'LL ever know"? And didn't he say that at the Signing Day party in Feb. 2005 at The Mercury Grille or was it the 2005 season Kick-Off luncheon at The Radisson Hotel?
