Saw the following notice posted outside of Ford Stadium around noon today:
Conference USA is filming its 2007-2008 TV public service announcement on Friday, July 27th and is looking for student-athletes to play one of the following roles:
Rice baseball player
UAB men's basketball player
Memphis men's basketball player
UCF softball player
Houston golfer (male)
Tulsa tennis player (woman)
UTEP cross country (woman)
Tulane women's basketball player
SMU soccer player (male)
Marshall volleyball player (woman)
ECU swimmer (woman)
Memphis track (male)
Football player (all 12 schools)
Tulsa cheerleader
Memphis cheerleader
UCF cheerleader
UTEP cheerleader
ECU cheerleader
Basketball referee
Trainers (3-4 total)
Mascots (6 total)
Please note:
These are not speaking parts - just role playing
You will not be paid - food and drink provided
Be prepared to be on set the entire day - we may be able to specify a morning or afternoon window closer to the 27th
Do not volunteer to be in this PSA if you have class on Friday, July 27th
