Should the team wear white jerseys vs. Tech

Just wondering - would it make sense for the team to wear white jerseys for the game against Tech (even though we're the home team) and force Tech to wear their dark jerseys (either red or black)?

Interesting idea. But we're home, on national Tv, and with the way the weather has been going it could be overcast and 79.

I think that after Erin is done and traditional "rain to ruin Dove season" the weather will be just fine for the game.

I agree PonySoprano. And we should have the team wear white helmets with a red pony. And a red stripe with two thin blue stripes to the sides of the red strip. And a red facemask. And white pants with a red belt, a large red strip down the side of each leg and two very thin blue stripes to the sides of the red strips. White socks with white shoes. The uniforms should look just like the 1978 uniforms (the year SMU worn nothing but white jerseys both home and away).

I have already spoken to sheriff Orsini about this topic, and he thought it was a good idea. We'll wait and see what Phil thinks about it.

Word...I third. Why change? We are on ESPN. We would look much better in Red. It would also look like the entire crowd are SMU fans :wink:

i wish we could go back to the old school unis with the white helmet and red mustang. those are so much cooler than our current uniforms
