Why so much orange and purple?

I understand that we aren't good right now and many fans will go for other teams like UT or A&M, but have a little pride. If I have to look at one more picture of Amon G. Carter or the UT football uniform I'm going to loose my respect for a few fans on this site. I don't know about everyone else but I'd only like to see pictures of the team in the Red and the Blue.

Just a thought...I apologize in advance for the griping.

Um .... not sure I understand your complaint here. The pictures you see on this site ARE of SMU teams and athletes.

I think most of what you are referring to are simply posts by persons from other schools trying to get their two cents in, not necessarily SMU fans that are supporting the other schools.

Surely some of our fans and/or journalists on this board have some FANTASTIC photos of our Mustangs from over the years that can be downloaded into their posts for all of us to enjoy...? Let's see some of 'em! I'd love to see photos of Walker, Rote, Gregg, Meredith, Hixson, LeVias, etc. and photos of our CURRENT up and coming LEGENDS OF THE HILLTOP! Put those 35mm snapshots up here! speaking of orange and purple, my son just finished his 1st year at Clemson, whose colors are...argh...orange and purple. It's enough to make me pull for Duke in the ACC (made easier by the fact we lived in Durham from '87-'91)

Hey Mrmustang. I was only trying to make a point. I love our team right now and know a few of the players. I don't think they're bad, but the greatest players we have are young.
