SMU fans are encouraged to sit behind the Mustang bench, on the east side. The east side is ALL general seating, the section H tickets are on the press box side, behind ASU's bench (well, 15 yard line). The president of the players families association, will be posting something on this soon. I have talked to the ASU ticket office, and SID office about this, and they gave the green light. Plus SMU is paying to have this game on tv, we will be visable to the camera's. Spread the word!

What is the expected crowd? I am planning to go and buy tickets when I get there. Is this a sellout or close to a sell? Or will there be plenty of tickets?

Mustang Football Families will be picking up our tickets at Gate 6 at 5:00pm and we will head straight to the east side stands which is all General Admission (first come). The plan is to secure seats together as close to the Mustangs as possible (maybe in sections R/S/T), so please come on in and find us and let's sit together. ASU colors are scarlet and black so we plan to wear BLUE. If some of you that already have your tickets can get there earlier and secure an area, we will come to you!

It'll be the first game of the year (if it's actually played), but I doubt it will get close to selling out. I hope I'm wrong. I'm guessing/hoping 26k.....and it holds 30k.
I'd be surprised if you can't find your choice of seating for all of your group.

I'm going to guess in the 23,000 range.
Lot of folks that come to the games have Swine Flu and they kickoff at 5:45 on ESPN.
Parking will be a mess. The Convocation Center is hosting the NE Arkansas District Fair Rodeo so a lot of that good parking will be taken.
We tend to get quite a few walk-ups so lines could be an annoyance if you wait until an hour before kickoff. In the past you could buy tickets earlier in the day at the Convocation Center, I'm not sure what they are doing this weekend.
The grass lots should be dried out by now, north of the stadium along Johnson Ave there is a very convient grass lot and if the field isn't too torn up lots of nice places to set up a tailgate. East of the stadium is a stand of pine trees there will be a lot of students and player parents tailgating there. West of the stadium is more controlled with most of the commercial and large group tailgating there. South of the stadium is more of the average fans than the east or west. Plenty of good parking there around the baseball stadium but as I said the paved lots around the Convo will likely be closed to football parking.
