TROPICAL STORM HUMBERTO and ASU Game
This new tropical storm is supposed to hit the TX coast tonight and track towards southern Arkansas and northern Mississippi. I guess there is some potential for heavy rain and some wind out of this that could affect northeast Arkansas.

I fear it is perfect passing weather.
Perfect for us to throw the ball as well. We threw it for 350 yards last week.

Yeah. And ntexas threw for 600+. I'll see if I can keep the rain moving north from Houston. The more that ball stays on the ground the better.

The forecast is still predicting near excellent Sat weather in Jonesboro.
But look at this tropical storm track:

I guess we will hopefully be just north of all of it?

The epicenter of the tropical depression on the map above is centered over Lake Providence, La. The weather forecast on Sat. for Lake Providence is mid 80s for the high and a 20 % chance of rain.
Now weather guys (gals) are about as good at predicting the weather as we are at predicting the Mustangs' score. Even so, it appears the weather will be pleasant in Jonesboro on Saturday.

Over 100 miles north of the far north edge of that track. ASU is in the Northeast corner, about 120 miles NE of Little Rock and 70 miles NW of Memphis. The upper edge of the storm track is roughly Pine Bluff which is about 50 miles SE of Little Rock.
