For those staying in Little Rock this weekend

Post by ponyte »

For those traveling to Little Rock for the SMU game. If you have the time, be sure to take the Clinton walking tour. The tour starts at the Clinton Library. From there it is a short walk to the Peabody (formerly the Excelsior) where Clinton propositioned Paula Jones. Next it is a block away to the Doubletree where Clinton raped Juanita Broderick. Be prepared for a longer walk to the Federal Courthouse where all of Clinton’s Whitewater schemers were put on trail. Then across the street to the Legacy Hotel where Clinton and McDougal dreamed up the Whitewater scam. Finally, it is time to eat and the tour stops at Doe’s where Clinton got those white flabby thighs. There is a long trip to Juanita’s Mexican restaurant where Clinton met Jennifer Flowers. And last, a trip to the Rose law firm where, for an extra $5, one can shred Hillary’s billing records.

And here I thought those thighs belonged to some intern he met in Washington.

Mmmm Doe's tamales. I miss Walker's BBQ in North Little Rock, they carried Doe's tamales. Few things better than a cool October afternoon, windows open, watching college football, and having a pulled pork sandwich and tamales.

Wasn't Walkers where Whole Hog is now? I never went there but heard it was great after they left. Believe it or not, I have never even been to Doe's.

Yep same spot plus Whole Hog took in some extra space as well.

Walkers was pretty good, but the old fart that ran the place was a gripey cuss so I usually did take out to avoid having to talk to him.

You need to load up some night to Doe's for steak and tamales. Fine eating. You buy your steak by the pound and its served family style cut up on a platter.
