The Owls were and are GREAT. Over the past few years the Owls have made it to Nebraska for the tournament and they finally WON!!!

Way to go Hooters. I don't know why, but of all the schools in the old SWC, Rice always seemed closest to SMU in outlook and in student body (albeit theirs was a bit smarter), but still a fun group. Seeing that WAC logo for six games on television over a ten day period is a good thing too. At least everyone will know there is something called the WAC involving Rice. Now if we can win the NCAA in soccer, ooops the WAC doesn't play soccer.
