SMU - Steve Orsini has the most important decision SMU has faced in years. This hire will make or break his career. This guy is good, so i expect a good hire. Gary Barnett has already thrown his name in the hat, if that is the worst they get they are in good shape. Terry Bowden, Rick Neuheisal, Glen Mason. This job can make or break a career, i say make. the word is out on orsini's skill. it is not just us, will he let us down??? we are in good shape

I just refuse to believe Malzahn is ready but he is going to be a great coach in the future. I do not know if we can afford that kind of risk at this time. Orisini would certainly be putting his neck out.

If Malzahn were to be hired, Orisini should have in writing the turn downs by all of the others being considered. Then he could say he took the best he could get.
