From all appearances and what I'm hearing, the search can't be going as well as Orsini would like. I just can't believe the lack of interest from stellar candidates is this low.

My gawd, if Barnett is interested, I don't know what Orsini is waiting for. Unless as I suspect he is getting resistance from the administration.

What exactly are you hearing? Probably nothing. Perhaps you should invest in a "Jump to Conclusions" floormat.

You certainly are impatient. It's only been a week and a half. Chill out.

Thanks for the update Dr. Turner.

What search? The coach has been named. Orsini had his man when he was hired. What about this do you people not understand. All the rest is just a smoke screen. What is funny, is that the team captains, as well as the team will have an opportunity to meet with the potential candidates and ask questions. How and when will this be done? Team captain met with Orsini on Tuesday to discuss the situation.

Well, it's actually what I am hearing and not hearing. Certain people who I would think would be contenders for this job either don't want to talk about it or in one case said "not interested." Granted I am not able to contact many that I am sure are "on the list", but I am concerned by the lack of interest from those I have been able to talk to.

I don't think you could be any more vague.

Would you be interested in the job if you were a tenured HC?

What's to keep us from thinking you are talking about expony, Stallion, and jtstang as being who you think would be "contenders"? Quit spreading the he said, she said stuff.

Do you expect me to name names on a message board? Even if I did name names, would you not still claim I am just spreading he said, she said rumors? Take it for what it is worth - whatever you believe that to be.

By the way, why don't you tell us who you do work for ?
