It is amazing how a guy who has won more National titles than just about anybody and a Super Bowl is perceived as an idiot.
I think Barrys coaching days are over but one of the best recruiters and gameday coaches ever.

Coach Switzer turned 70 last month.

And Lakehighlands I agree, he was a great coach.

Oh yeah, with Switzer's NCAA rap sheet, it would be a perfect hire for SMU.

Can we get Jerry Tarkanian to coach the basketball team, too?

He's out of coaching. Ever since they stopped letting carry him pistols on airplanes, its just not as fun for him. I hear he rides around in a big chauffeur driven RV - like John Madden. He can pack heat and nobody cares.
