I'm incessantly sick and tired of the pessimistic hotheads on the other mustang 'fan' site. The season is FAR from over. If I remember correctly, the WAC co-champions were only 5-2 last year, and we've only lost one conference game so far.

And did anyone pick a victory over NC State in those preseason prediction threads. Not many, because they play in one of the premier conferences, and I think they are better than many people could imagine.

Whoever thought an SMU team with 19 underclassmen starters would have the perfect season needs to have THEIR heads examined, not the coaches or players.

The schedule only gets friendlier folks, and in my humble amateur opinion, playing at home against the Green Wave is going to be much better than playing in front of a 50,000+ sea of red.

So, yes, GET OVER IT!!!

The best has yet to come.

Stangster the team is OK. I think they know they were just out matched on Saturday. Sunday was an off day and they got up early and went out and had some fun. We're ready for Tulane. If we can't have an undefeated season on the road - we'll take undefeated at home! BEAT TULANE. GO PONIES. See you on Saturday.
