Miami withdraws from the Big East. But they do not accept ACC offer, at least yet. They will claim they need more time to evaluate the situation. Gives them leverage in influencing the 12th team in the ACC and the timing of getting one. And more importantly to put together a new conference if they don't like the ACC's plan for 12.

I don't see any new conferecnes beign organized for Miami. The BCS is a closed corporation and the ACC belongs.
