Worst Football Season in SMU History?

...to potentially NOT win a conference game in this mighty world, coupled with the fact that this was the "bowl year", I would have to say this is maybe the lowest we have ever sunk....anybody have another season to submit? Coach K, welcome on board!!!

Bennett owns two of SMU's "worst seasons ever". Remember...that 0-12 came after a 3 win season and that team was supposed to be much improved

worst time in smu history period. basketball team cant even beat Southern. They lost by 40 last night to Missouri after losing to Paul Quinn, so we certainly cant say they are a decent team. Football is a disaster and I can tell you first hand that fan enthusiasm and interest is at an all time low. I have never seen a football stadium look like that one today. This is a fan base that feels no hope. Plus the football stadium is not even a fun place to come anymore for the kids. Cant bring footballs in, its absolutely dead in the south endzone and the gestapo is everywhere.

bring out the nocs, i saw tons of kids playing in the south end zone

Those 'kids' were members of the UCF Golden Knights football team after each TD.

I agree. Much worse then Bennett's winless season. At least then we were optimistic about all the "metroplex" recruits we were going to be getting. This season i just cried.
