According to reports out of Conference USA discussions yesterday, no member would leave before June of 2005.

Perhaps the urgency reported in papers in Tampa, Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, etc. is based on anxiety, not on a timeline which may be longer term than we have been discussing? Does ACC wait for number 12th? If we are patient, does that work to our benefit?
As a bunch of Type A's, can we play the game for the long term and give Bennett the opportunity to improve our chances with better results on the field?

This means that June 30, 2004 is the final deadline to get the realignments decided and notices of leaving a conference sent.
We need to show improvement this year to get some respect.
