Can anyone confirm a press conference tomorrow? Slick move by Orsini would be to announce a coach Monday and then to have him at halftime on Wednesday's SMU vs TCU game...

Please Shula/Bowden/Schottenheimer/Johnson...I'm getting less picky by the minute.

How do you know it's almost over?

Some of these things will last ├â┬ó├óΓÇÜ┬¼├óΓé¼┬¥ ESPN just said UCLA is about to fire Dorrell, there's talk of Willingham being bounced in Washington ├â┬ó├óΓÇÜ┬¼├óΓé¼┬¥ and there are times when a coach isn't announced until January.

I sure hope you're right, of course. Just curious why you say that.

That WOULD be slick (anyone else want to see Slick Rick Neuheisel?) Make an announcement that "the coach will be unveiled at the basketball game" and then NOT reveal his identity? Very nice.

announce that we have a coach, and that you'll introduce him at halftime at the TCU game...that wouldn't just be slick, it'd be genius...good idea

announce that the HC will be introduced at Halftime of the TCU game IF and ONLY IF there are at least 7500 in attendance

judging from the way things went last year, the only way we're getting 7500 into a basketball game is if we are playing a Big XII/Top 10 opponent or if we had just announced that we were going to "make it rain" at halftime...
