Impact Freshmen for this season???

Of the incoming freshment, who has a chance to have significant playing time this year? Who has a chance to truly be an "impact player" as a freshman?

I did not realize that asking a legitimate question meant that I was a "troll". I know that I sometimes do point out the "realities" of our football/basketball programs as I believe that reality is more important than the land that some SMU fans live in.

Hey Stansbury... do you remember me at all? I was an equipment manager for two-a-days and up until the Texas Tech game. I was assigned to Coach Gush and the linebackers, when you still were one. I did a terrible job of running the drills as I recall and often was on Gush's bad side

And Randall.. the deaf kid.. is he still a manager? He was so.... well, deaf

Like last year, there will be some freshman who play alot, probably D linemen like Bonds. I don't think they will play this year, but anxious to see how Meeks and Phillips look as future qbs.

2-3 Dlinemen will have to play, we are not deep. Perhaps a WR

Yea, Brandon Bonds, Desmond Jones. Lucky Delay sounds like a beast too. As for wide receiver, it looks wide open to me. Its too bad we spent all that time developing Daniel Francis last year. Where did he go by the way?

Ya i remember you UNFmustang. How are you man? long time no see. Those were good times watching Gush yell at you, it gave us some time to rest. But Randall is still around, sometimes he works out with us but probably will not see any playing time next season. But some freshman I think will have an impact next year are; Massey, Paveto, Boren, Jones, and Bonds. And Daniel Francis is temporarily unavailable for the season due to his academic situation.

If Stansbury thinks those guys can play, I think so, too. He certainly has seen more of those fellas than the rest of us have....

Stansbury, you know how much our job required yelling, sometimes across the field at some of the other managers or coaches. I remember during some of the special teams practices... I used to have to run him the ball almost every time because he forgot to turn around and expect it... and well, you couldn't yell at him. He was frustrating, but you can't not love that kid. Remember Lleyton? Waddling across the field? Ah good times.

Shame I had to leave SMU.. but, anyway, good luck this season. I think you're going to surprise a lot of people. I know you guys have a LOT of heart. Just prove everyboydy wrong.
