ASSuming this pans out, let's start a thread dedicated to noting the first time you lent credence to the idea that Jones could be coming to SMU. This will save us from the multiple "I told you so" threads, while still allowing us to harken back to the days of yesteryear when June Jones was a fantasy scoffed at by even the most starry-eyed of PonyFans.

For me, I'll go with Dec. 8:

I told you so sounds soooo sweet. Thank you for noticing the fact I called attention to this before anyone else. :lol:

We're going to get one big huge fat honking "I told you so" from Stallion if June Jones signs with Atlanta. I'm following the no expectations jstang model until June Jones signs.

I will be the first to say that I had no idea he would even be in the picture after all the dismal speculation this board spewed out, including myself. JJ would be a WOW hire, but he aint here yet. Remember UH, Houston that is. Pardee and Haywood were the finalist and all of a sudden......... Let's just wait until the press conference. A better thread would be to go back and see what names were mentioned in this search that some of us would have sold our soul for.

Actually, this is a perfect thread. So many jackasses get on here and make absolute statements that come and bite them in the [deleted]. Even if June Junes doesn't come here J.T.supporta, biddaddy, and biggin all got bitched because JJ was almost in the bag where as they all said not a chance.

I brought the topic back up on Dec. 19(3 weeks ago) after it had been dead for 3 days. Nothing on JJ was heard again until the Sugar Bowl. All that was posted was Fran will be, Coker will be, Bowden should be.

Who is this person Loco? Have you been reading the message board and just want to seem important. June Jones has health problems associated with the near fatal car wreck he had some years back. He plans to retire in Hawaii and has no plans on leaving or asking for a raise. He will move into the athletic admin when he is finished coaching and live happily ever after. Say what you want about Hawaii, but most of us would retire there in a heartbeat. - bigdaddy08091
