I have not been optimistic on recent events when the ex-university President has chosed not to speak or demonstrate to fellow university Presidents what needs to be done. Left to the BCS cartel and many universities, college sports are in denial about the situation we all operate in. Can we can make progress which benefits all schools and student athletes?

I find it interesting that the needed leadership in NCAA Div. I-A football has come from Tulane, not the NCAA president. Of course the real power probably belongs to the president of the FCA where BCS matters are being decided.
