Miracles can happen: In 1994 he was named SWC "Player of the Week" by the Houston Post after leading SMU to a 21-21 tie with #7 ranked Texas A&M, snapping the Aggies 26-game SWC winning streak.

SMU should get him back on The Hilltop at its earlier opportunity to be an assistant coach!

WE sometimes forget that aftert he DP we nearly made a comeback under Rossley.

Copeland's first stupid move was to fire Rossley. His second was to hire Cavan. Hopefully, third time is a charm.

Let's hope that by 2012, coach Bennett has over 70 wins and a couple of conference championships under his belt...and announces he plans to hang around long enough to beome SMU's all time winningest football coach.
