Got to have a few guys with Texas ties on the staff for recruiting....
Actually, I misspoke and thought he was someone else... Here's his bio from UH:
Jeff Reinebold enters his second year as the defensive line coach for the Warriors.
Although this is his first year as a full-time coach for the Warriors, Reinebold is well traveled and has extensive football knowledge. His vast understanding of the game stems from more than 25 years of coaching experience both in the collegiate and professional ranks.
The Hoosier began his coaching resume as a wide receivers coach at Western Montana in 1981. From there, he had stints at Dartmouth, Montana and Pennsylvania before getting his first head coaching job at Rocky Mountain College in 1989, where his squad led the NAIA District XII in passing offense and guided the program to its first non-losing season in six years. The next season, he took a job at New Mexico as the outside linebackers coach before leap-frogging into the professional ranks.
He is best known for his involvement with the Canadian Football League and NFL Europe. He served as head coach for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL and senior manager of international player development for the Amsterdam Admirals in NFL Europe. Obviously, Reinebold has the credentials for the job and every member of the team is confident in his abilities.
This past summer, Reinebold saw his efforts reach fruition as two of his proteges - Ikaika Alama-Francis and Melila Purcell - were selected in the 2007 NFL Draft. Alama-Francis was taken in the second round by the Detroit Lions while Purcell was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round.
Reinebold has a solid nucleus of talented players to work with and the passion needed to develop an elite group of pass rushers and run stoppers.
The South Bend, Ind., native prepped at South Bend Clay High School where his career was highlighted by garnering All-Indiana Running Back honors on his way to winning the city scoring title and finishing second in school history in yards gained per season. He attended the University of Maine in 1976 and earned three letters as a defensive back on the Black Bears football team. However, he completed his degree from Indiana University in 1981, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in general studies.
Reinebold is married to the former Ellie Taft and they have seven children: Sarah, Matthew, Zachariah, Emi, Megan, Jacob and Kekoa.

Just don't hire Ramon Flanigan. Please.
Noticed he was trolling for a job at the press conference. Great player, cheered like heck for him as a fan, but Ramon is all about Ramon and nothing else.
Some of us remember the childish way he celebrated UNT's win over us a couple of years ago. Now he's playing the alumni card. Doesn't work both ways, pal.

More on Reinebold from Wikipedia...
In 2005, Reinebold was appointed NFL Europe’s Senior Manager of International Player Development. He later resigned his six figure position to take a $842.23 per month graduate assistantship with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
I just like that he wanted to get back to coaching so badly that he went the GA route (by teh way he is now DL coach and SP Teams coach).
Also should point out that of Hawaii's current recruits...Jeff was in charge of recruiting 5 of them this year and 9 last year including 7 three stars.

Does this mean we will have a special teams coach this coming year?
