When does JJ start recruting?

Anyone know when JJ starts recruiting for SMU??? I read somewhere that he was in Hawaii this weekend.

This is not a one-day signing period. It runs from Feb. 6-until early April. We're not going to come close to filling this class and there won't be much coming from it, so don't expect anything great. But that's what these two months are for.

I think we'll fill it. JJ has already said that he'll find the guys after signing day if necessary.

I hope he really means that.

I read somewhere that he was in Hawaii this weekend.[/quote].........................Well, the Hawaii press said yesterday that JJ is bringing JUCO Rivals 3 Star QB Kevin Craft in from California to SMU, so he has obviously been doing some recruiting while in Hawaii this week.

Surely he's been on the phone with players (and coaches), and there are a lot of players who want to play for him. He'll get a class of players I'm confident we'll be proud to cheer for, and an even better class next year when he has a full year to recruit.

He comes back to Dallas tomorrow, I gather.
