Has he put on weight? The roster lists him as 6'5" 255. That's way to light for a D1 offensive lineman

Are you saying that's your personal assessment, personal opinion, word on the street, or informed "source" (as it seems everyone on this board has onr of those, of which about 15% lead to actual revelations that come true)?

PonyPride IS one of our main sources. If he says it it is true. (Unless I dispute it of course)

I agree that PonyPride has proven legitimacy, especially as compared to many others. Not arguing that fact. Just wondering, trying to differentiate this specific instance. No intent to offend PonyPride.

If I remember correctly, most of his information comes from the athletic department personel.

Vincent might have been 255 at the end of the season or something but I remember him being in mid 260's going into the season...wostly all muscle.

He could be 280 in a heartbeat, but moving to OT your RS-Senior year will be a huge challenge for him and I hope he can pull it off. We are REALLY thin in talent at the tackle positions.

Did not think you were. Just did not know if you were aware of his contacts with the insiders.

Chase needs to be at least 290 to play OT at the d1 level. I am guessing he weighs around 260 now. Is it feasible for him to put on around 30 lbs of good weight by the time the season starts? No doubt Vincent has the Athletic Ability, footwork and mean streak to play on Tackle. Because of his atheltic ability and footwork, he would probably play Left tackle...but right now who are the other options to play Left tackle?

No offense taken (except for mrydel's willingness to dispute, of course - that's very offensive).

I'd call my source pretty informed - Vincent Chase. :D
