"As if that weren't enough, four of the five most established players on defense — Ryan Aycock, Vincent Meeks, Adell Duckett and John Saldi — all were slowed by injuries in preseason practice, and first-time starter Ken Scott missed last week because of his father's death.

Aycock, Meeks, Duckett and Scott all are expected to be in the lineup for the SMU game. More will be known about Saldi's availability after he undergoes an MRI today to determine how well a torn back muscle his healing."

The article touts their offensive line but as is always the question when you are only playing yourself, is that because the defensive line is so bad?
