Of TX schools - only Rice is top 50.

#385 Texas Tech
#509 University of North Texas
#512 Sam Houston State University

Now - I have to say - the methodology Forbes uses is quite suspect (to say it loosely). For instance, the University of the Ozarks (Mo) ranks ahead of TCU . . . though I do enjoy seeing TCU ranked #513 in anything.

Interesting. No surpise, 9 of the top 10 are up east. I am surprise it was not 10 out of 10 from the east.

found it...the worst school in the country is the Milwaukee School of Engineering at 569

only 56 places to go TCU!!! haha

also interesting is Iowa St. at 563 ...i had a math professor from there 1st semester last year...my 7th grade math teacher knows more about calculus than him....now i know why.
