Did we move up? I want to say we were in the low 70s last year.

Rice is 17
Texas is in the 40s somewhere
Didn't see A&M, but I'm sure they are somewhere
TCU is at 113 -- we continue to separate ourselves from them.

Speaking of NTSU, anyone else seen their new ad campaign touting the number of students they have? Talk about a weak leg to stand on - other schools tout their famous alumni, number of national merit scholars, the size of their endowment (TWSS), or their national rankings...NTSU touts the number of students they have - 34,000.

Nothing adds a wow factor to your degree like bragging about the number of students at your school!!

I saw the billboard a couple of days ago and thought the same thing. Playing up the safety in numbers angle I guess.

And Forbes says we're #13. Go figure
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

CUSA has several teams in the top 100 (SMU, Rice, Tulsa, Tulane) the SEC west has several teams south of 100 (The Beloved Razorbacks, LSU, Miss State, Old Miss). Now check the football records and see if there is a correlation.

Yeah, some good rankings for CUSA. I can say though, that Ole Miss may be south of 100 overall on this list, but Ole Miss came in at #23 best public school in the new Forbes rankings.

you know the #14 ranking for "alternative lifestyle not an alternative"?...well call me ignorant(rhetorical) but i thought that mean that you know we were just very conformist and everyone dressed the same or something...but NOOOOOO the DC decides to write an article today that says it means we are homophobes...i guess i thought we would have been higher if thats what it really means

You're not taking Meadows into account. They bring that particular ranking down.
