Happens at least once a year over there, gosh I miss SEC country. I will say the obvious though, it has less to do with football and more to do with BAC.

According to witnesses, Dennis Smith called Williams after the game, and the Smiths went to Williams' home, where a fight led to the shooting. Dennis Smith had a pistol and Williams had a shotgun, authorities said.


Shotgun wins out against a pistol 9 times out of 10. Having lived in both states, if the defense can show that the deceased did in fact make derogatory statements against The Tide, then it will be reduced to involuntary manslaughter or justifiable homicide.
