Log on to a college football news website i see that Florida State players have been suspended! Wasnt there like 20 suspended at one time last year? I know about a week ago i saw another story about a player getting suspended. I have also seen a lot of stories about Penn State players being suspended. Guess the old coaches dont have the energy to police their players anymore!

And yes I know our guys have been getting suspended, but other than Willis punching a stalker, most of ours have been a buildup of Academic infractions rather than drive by shootings, rapings, drugs, illegal weapons, fighting....

Not that this has anything to do with SMU...

This is an interesting discussion because a lot of great team has some nasty players on it (usually on defense, which I am sorry to say is the weakest leak on our otherwise weak team). But at the same time what good do you do your team if your in jail, getting in fights in the university center, etc. What you need are a couple guys who may get in a bar fight once in a blue moon. They kind of like the idea of it but are disciplined enough to not do it too often. A happy medium between discretion and thuggishness is needed.
