Double D
Darrell Dickey is the OC at Utah State.
Maybe he could come back to Dallas and reunite with Flannagin?

Syrause program has been in trouble for more than 15 years. At one time Syracuse pretty much had the pick of the crop in the states of NY, Conn, NJ and eastern PA as they were the only Div I program in the area other than Boston College. Penn State and ND and to a lesser degree Pitt took the pick of the litter and then BC and Syracuse moved in for what ever was left. After McPherson retired they really did not recruit well and suddenly on the horizon appeared Rutgers after 100 years of oblivion with a very aggresive new coach named Schiano who wants every NJ kid. Suddenly University of Conn. decides to become Div I the U. of Buffalo then decides to become Div 1. Temple decides to re-emphasis their program after being booted out ot the Big East. Now Syracuse has real competition for recruits and they failed to respond. Robinson never had a chance to turn that program around after only 3 years. The Syracuse alumni were very much wanting their historical power house restored instantly and were very impatient ( sounds so familiar on this board) and it is not to be. Rutgers and UConn have great coaches, new training facilities, new stadiums and are starting to win. Anyone who takes over at Syracuse has a huge job to restore that program as they have dropped out of sight the last 15 years and a 3 year coach has no chance of restoring that program.
