As quoted in Tulsa World:
Bennett said he'd like for Kincade to have fewer carries but, "when you're in a game like that, with a chance to win, you want your top guns in there." (Referring to the Baylor game)
So, if we are getting beat then Massey has a chance to see time?
Here it is, in a bid to surprise OSU and shake up the offense Bennett starts Wallis. Wallis and KK keep the score in check for a while with an option running game. As the team gets behind in come Bartel and Massey. The team rallies with a combination of long passes and long runs to win. Or something.
Well, it could be interesting.

I love your plan, but what do we do when you awaken from this dream?

Re: Opening for Massey?
I'd rather Bartel hit a few long passes and have Kincade and Massey try to run out the clock to protect a lead, rather than try to stay close and then play catch-up.

From ESPN.com's Tom Lemming:
"I really like running back Richuel Massey. He's a big-time back with size, speed, strength and balance .... Phil Bennett is a great recruiter and the Mustangs are doing a good job in Texas and Oklahoma. He knows the area well and SMU is the team of the future in the WAC."

Nice quote Grapevine. Massey has a chance to prove himself out there, and a second coming of Shanderrick Charles would tickle me to death.
